Most rural areas in developing nations were faced with the problem of high poverty rate. A better understanding drivers household income is a powerful guide for proper intervention towards alleviation and wellbeing. This study, therefore, investigates households’ Nigeria. Data sourced from National Bureau Statistics analysed using descriptive statistics multiple regression. The results revealed that majority heads males who married an average size 6 persons dependency ratio (0.94). had low level education, depends on agricultural activities earned monthly N42,142.70.
